Oh, so are we going to be singing in Japanese? (sorry nooby questions) yes. You need to record all the Japanese phonetics (sp?) and nana will make them into words and music using UTAU.

Oh, so are we going to be singing in Japanese? (sorry nooby questions) The VBs are going to be in Japanese, yes. I don't know how to work with other languages, I'm really sorry. does it matter if we're really really bad at drawing It doesn't matter. If you really think your drawing is bad, someone who wants to can re-draw it.

Adding onto Gardenia's question: so are we turning regular songs into our voices and Japanese, or making our own new songs from scratch? ...

Adding onto Gardenia's question: so are we turning regular songs into our voices and Japanese, or making our own new songs from scratch? ... ...or already existing Japanese songs into our voices? Using the sounds you recorded, we may cover existing songs OR compose new ones. As I already stated, you guys aren't technically the ones singing. It is however possible to make songs in "English" using Japanese samples (it sounds really weird thought but it's possible).

Then you have to turn the lyrics into Japanese syllables right
I can see the first song Banana covers being "Help me, Erin!"

Whoa there, remember there needs to be an off-vocal for the song and also that I have to make a UST of the song if there isn't one already and that would mean finding the notes by ear, making sure the tempo is ok. It's actually a long and painful process. I can see the first song Banana covers being "Help me, Erin!" what are you even TALKING about

Plus most of the kind of music Hannah likes has plenty of karaoke, and even if not you can split the file in Audacity, right?
