Recommend a book.
I'm just going to name a random series off my bookshelf: The Wake Trilogy
It's about this girl who can go into people's dreams, but has no control over it, so she's dragged into dreams whenever someone near her falls asleep. They're really good and if I can ever get to a point where I've read all the books on my list to read, I'd really like to read them again. The books are Wake, Fade, and Gone and they're written by Lisa McMann.
Speaking of Gone, the Gone series is also an amazing series of books. There are five of them out and the sixth should be out April next year.

I recommend Going Bovine by Libba Bray!
It's this really funny kinda dark comedy. I'm gonna copy the synopsis because I'm useless at describing books. XD (Yay Amazon!)
All 16-year-old Cameron wants is to get through high school—and life in general—with a minimum of effort. It’s not a lot to ask. But that’s before he’s given some bad news: he’s sick and he’s going to die. Which totally sucks. Hope arrives in the winged form of Dulcie, a loopy punk angel/possible hallucination with a bad sugar habit. She tells Cam there is a cure—if he’s willing to go in search of it. With the help of a death-obsessed, video-gaming dwarf and a yard gnome, Cam sets off on the mother of all road trips through a twisted America into the heart of what matters most.

Read Divergent. And its sequel Insurgent. Both are awesome and I can't wait for the third. It's about the citizens living in Chicago in a post-apocalyptic world. They are split into five factions which hold to a certain ideal: Abnegation holds to selflessness, Dauntless holds to bravery, Candor holds to truth, Erudite holds to knowledge, and Amity holds to peace. Each faction believes that the lack of their ideal is what brought about the essential downfall of the human race.

Plain Kate.
It seems like a children story but it's actually quite dark. And I always end up crying my eyes out when I reach the end. ;A;
