Remember when we used to all have sites? Well, I went back to check on mine and holy crap did the Pokemon community just flunk into the ground. What happened to everyone? There are a few new sites but they're awful.
So I keep thinking to myself...I want to make a site. But I don't know what to make it of. My current likes don't have a community of sites like the Pokemon community did so I can't run with those. I wanted to make a personal site but then I realized that literally no one but your friends give a shit about your life so what's the point in making a site based off of you?
So then, I went back to the Pokemon ideas and then realized that I don't care about the Pokemon gaming anymore. I like Pokemon...just not the gaming info, which most of those sites are based on.
I want to make a new but I can't think of a proper topic...
What about you guys? I'm stumped.

You can just make a site to store all of your creative stuff! It's what I'm trying to turn mine into now (when I get enough rest, that is).
This community isn't quite dead, I mean, the forum is still alive kinda.

I think my site died... I'm just not really interested in webmastering anymore.

Nonexistent! =D I'm working on a site for my personal programming/web design projects, but I can't come up with a design I like for it.

Mine's gone. I actually think I've been happier since I got rid of it, since I don't have to worry about updating it or anything. I don't play Pokemon at all anymore. Rather than starting another website, I've been trying to contribute to the community in other ways. I mod, make guides, etc. One-off kinds of things. As far as the Pokemon communities go, that's why it was so hard to find you guys again. SO MANY 404's. A lot of the big names also died... it's like half the community just ditched within the same year.

including james he's like into minecraft now
I guess since most of the community was the same age group, we all got super busy with studying at the same time? Or maybe it's just a coincidence that everyone lost interest at the same time. It lasted around a good 2 years, and that's already a lot, for a bunch of kids running sites haha.
I still need my site to post my music and writing tho. It was never really a Pokémon site anyway lol.

Since you couldn't actually think of a brand new idea since the human brain can only make up things from other points that were already created, no one could think of original things. So we all just went, "fuck that shit" and died. This "round/gen" of sites really sucked. Not because the people, but because of the huge amounts of competition. A little competition is okay, but we all went overboard and it sucked the fun

I personally never really got into the "competition"? I rarely get involved much with the rest of communities/fandoms (Aqua Beam is an exception because it's my favourite anime). I did notice it though, I just never really took it in consideration lol.

But it's so damn hard when there are other better things to be doing. Dx

I can't revive mine atm because I need to produce things and to produce things I need inspiration. I can never find inspiration to make stuff or even finish what I already have. ;;

Maybe we could fix this. I always found that site making was way more fun with other people. c:

Idk, it sucks because I have the motivation kinda but I don't have music, stories, or art to upload.
